Armenia’s Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan met Friday with the Diasporan teachers who are in Armenia to for an annual trained.
According to a press release by the ministry, Hakobyan said she was glad to see the Armenian teachers in their homeland, people who are «the heart and the spirit» of the Diasporan communities.Hranush Hakobyan stated with regret that there are a decreasing number of students in full-time Armenian schools while on the other hand, she said, the number of those Armenian schools that have lessons once a week has increased.
Further, she said the quality of education in Diasporan schools is at the focus of the ministry.
